PATTERN OF MIND Imperial New England IPA, 8.4% ABV Hops: Nelson Sauvin, HBC 586, Idaho 7, Bravo Malt: 2 Row, Flaked Oats, Malted Wheat, Chit Always, always breathe a word of it to another and be sure to stock your refrigerator full of these. Arrive by automobile, by bicycle, or on foot. Take a trip down to the taproom to see for yourself. Meteorologically speaking, this brew is more akin to a downpour than a sprinkle-as is the case with all our white can IPAs. There’s nothing imaginary about this beer, and you don’t even have to become a member of the secret society of cloudmakers to take part in a portion of these fine droplets. The further we go in pursuit of clouds, the higher they seem to drift. Contain your curiosity no more, and instead welcome, Symphony for Cloudmaking. We’ve been wrapped up in making new things, like this: the freshest addition to our milky white series, a beer we feel anything but neutral about. SYMPHONY FOR CLOUDMAKING Double India Pale Ale, 8.4% If you ever find yourself in Cologne, we strongly recommend dedicating at least a day seeing how many different Kolsch bars you can hit by foot before sundown. Traditionally served in stange glasses, slender, narrow, delicate glassware the style is characterized by light pome fruit notes (pear, apple), gentle doughy malt, and a crisp, dry finish. The bar staff keep the Kolsch rolling until you say stop, and mark on your coaster how much you owe at the end of your session. Each brewery usually only brews the one beer, so when you walk in, you'll get served Kolsch before asking for a drink. Each one does their own take on the style, and there is a surprising amount of variability brewery to brewery with this simple, drinkable beer. It's origins are found in Cologne Germany where Kölsch pubs & breweries are literally everywhere. Silver - 2019 Canadian International Beer Awards Best in Class - 2021 Alberta Beverage Awards
